The AASM Foundation recently awarded over $90,000 to support young investigator, community and educational projects as part of its Focused Projects Award – Humanitarian/Educational and Junior Investigators award programs. These projects will have an impact on the sleep health of the Latino/Hispanic immigrant community, health disparities and populations served by social workers, insomnia and maternal-child health, patient outcomes and novel therapies for individuals with obstructive sleep apnea.
