Co-Funded Grant Opportunity in Idiopathic Hypersomnia for Early Career Researchers

The AASM Foundation and the Hypersomnia Foundation are excited to expand their partnership with a co-funded opportunity for early career researchers. The 2026 Focused Projects Grant for Junior Investigators is open to mentored projects that will address one or more important unanswered scientific questions related to idiopathic hypersomnia (IH).

Since 2022, the AASM Foundation and Hypersomnia Foundation have partnered to grant nearly $850,000 in support of high-impact research on IH and related central disorders of hypersomnolence. Through this partnership, the AASM Foundation and Hypersomnia Foundation reaffirm their dedication to supporting the next generation of IH researchers focused on addressing the most pressing questions for those affected by the disorder.
