The AASM Foundation recently awarded more than $1.4 million in career development and investigator-initiated awards to support sleep investigators across the country. The awardees’ projects aim to fill research gaps in hypersomnia, sleep apnea, insomnia and other high-impact research areas needed to advance the field of sleep medicine, which will ultimately lead to improved health outcomes in patients.
