Lynn Marie Trotti, MD, MSc

Dr. Trotti is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Emory University, where she also serves as the Associate Program Director for the sleep medicine fellowship. Clinically, her practice is focused on treatment-refractory hypersomnolence disorders and the multidisciplinary care of people with Parkinson’s disease. Her research focuses on the pathophysiology and treatment of the central disorders of hypersomnolence, through investigator-initiated, randomized, controlled trials and functional neuroimaging.
Dr. Trotti has been a member of the Board of Directors of the AASM Foundation since 2020. Prior to her time on the AASM Foundation Board of Directors, Dr. Trotti served as a grant reviewer and on multiple committees for the Foundation, including review committees and the Research Career Development committee. She was the Vice-Chair of the AASM Foundation’s Young Investigators Research Forum in 2016 and Chair in 2017 and 2018. Dr. Trotti also serves on the AASM Board of Directors and as a member of the AASM Guidelines Advisory Panel and has previously served on several AASM committees and guideline task forces.
