Join Our 2025 Campaign

Since 1998, the AASM Foundation’s programs have been investing in career development, high-impact research projects, and community initiatives. We have awarded more than $31 million in grants because it is critical for sleep care providers to work together to address the national crisis of poor sleep and undiagnosed/untreated sleep disorders.

In annual surveys to our grant recipients, they consistently report that our funding has provided them with the following:

• Protected time to do research
• Opportunities to network with other researchers
• Invitations to give research lectures at multiple national meetings and peer institutions.
• Recognition by other organizations including CHEST, ATS, and AAN
• Securing a permanent position or promotion at their institution
